Greetings ~
It's been 77-years, at this writing, since the end of World War II and the end of the Nazis. Throughout history there has always been dictators that have performed really nasty acts on their fellow man and woman. But you would be hard-pressed to find another regime that was so harsh Toward a race...or group of people as the Nazi party has been. Anyone who has studied the history of Germany from the early 1900s to 1950 know this. And the Nazis didn't even stop at murdering children. Much like Russia is doing today.
Back in the 1940s, it would take the United States to finally put a stop to this. But, sadly, many children would have to die before the Nazis were brought to their knees. This blog tells the story of one such young lady. She was 17-years old when she went to the hangman's noose simply for standing up for her people. And, on the gallows when told they would spare her life if she only told them who her comrades were, she refused.
The Nazis could have simply put these young ones in prison. That would have been enough. They could have then been released after the war. But Hitler and his cronies wanted these people eliminated from the face of the earth and it did not matter how young they were.
Lepa Radic was a hero. There's no doubt about that. But she was actually not the only one. There were many young people in their teens and early twenties that fought the Nazis just as hard. And many of them died for their acts. This blog tells of one of them. But she was not alone. Such a sad time in the history of our world.
